- Balloons filled with helium are sensitive to temperature changes and wind, which can cause them to deflate quickly.
- Avoid contact with sharp objects or rough surfaces, as even small punctures can cause helium to leak out.
- Keep them away from heat sources as heat can cause them to expand and burst.
- During transport, secure the balloons to prevent them from floating away using a balloon weight or tie them with ribbon .
- Keep them away from pointy or sharp edges.
- In hot weather, balloons expand, so avoid leaving them in a hot car to prevent explosions.
- In cold weather, balloons contract and appear under-inflated, but will fill out once brought inside (room temp).
- If balloons get wet and droop, shake them off and they will float again once dry.
- Our latex balloons are made from 100% biodegradable natural rubber. We use Hi-Float to ensure they float up to ten times longer.
- Foil balloons will float for 5-14 days, depending on their size, and are reusable, but not biodegradable.
- Foil balloons can conduct electricity if they come into contact with power lines, so always attach them to a weight and never release Mylar balloons.
- Helium is a non-toxic, non-flammable gas that’s safe for the environment, but never inhale it as it takes the place of oxygen in your lungs, preventing you from getting the oxygen you need.
- Always supervise young children and do not allow them to play with deflated balloons.
- Cut balloons with scissors directly above the knot or sealing point, and promptly place them in trash containers for proper disposal.
